SaladStop! Eat Wide Awake Movement

More often, salads play the role of the sides or appetizers but never the main course. As September is officially a “Salad Month”, SaladStop! brings salads and mindful-eating in the spotlight. Known for their hearty fresh salads, wraps and tasty yet nutritious snacks, SaladStop! launched their “Eat Wide Awake Movement” with activities running throughout the month to encourage people to go on a healthy diet and proper fitness. New offerings are also introduced in their menu.

During the Eat Wide Awake Movement launch, guest were treated to their new Ting Tong Salad. This refreshing nutty salad has Romaine lettuce, cajun shrimp, vermicelli, ripe mango, pomelo, cherry tomatoes, snow peas, shredded coconut, roasted peanuts and Thai peanut turmeric.

A couple of signature wraps were also served. The seafood-flavored Oh Crab Lah has romaine, crab sticks, grated eggs, vermicelli, cherry tomatoes, red onions, croutons and Singapore Chili Crab. Good for those looking for a little spicy kick on their wraps. I enjoyed the familiar cheese and cream of a Hail Ceasar Wrap. Don’t be fooled by its half serving size, its already heavy for me and is good as a meal.

For dessert I tried the Chocolate Chia Pudding. The chocolate used seems like the dark choco variant which I liked. Strawberries are always a good combination with choco and soy. Dig and I got a hefty serving of chia seeds.
