Fast-paced city living has also changed people’s eating habits. For those who are always on the go, snacking seems to be a practical choice to balance nourishment with other daily tasks. BonChon thinks snacking should not only satisfy in-between meal cravings but also be affordable with the quality of taste and quantity of serving good enough to stave hunger pangs. BonChon Snack Ons offers quick fix meals, snack- sized munchies from their all time favorite meals. Happyfoodies got to sample these Bonchon Snack-Ons and checked out what we liked.
Sandwich lovers will enjoy the two variants of the BonChon Snackwhich. There’s the Double Garlic Snackwich with chicken chop glazed with soy-garlic, garlic bits and lettuce. But my favorite was the Double Spicy Snackwich because of its distinct Korean spiciness. The spicy mayo and Kimchi coleslaw perfectly complement the Kaiser bun.
The handy BonChon Chicken Poppers served in a tumbler is a ready to go snack. Made with 100% chicken fillet chunks, it’s a great way to enjoy that familiar BonChon chicken goodness in a handy package. There are also two variants, the original Soy-Garlic and Spicy. Out of the two, I enjoyed the original flavor more than the spicy variant.
Side dish faves are still there like the thick cut and skin-on fries and the onion rings. But the scene stealer is the much flavorful Sweet Potato Fries. Their Korean Noodle Chapchae is also a good value favorite with its slightly sweet savory taste.
Sweet tooths are sure to enjoy the Bonchon Crepes – The Apple Caramel and Mangoes and Cream variants. Both have crispy crepes, fruit preserves and toppings. I found the Mangoes and Cream too sweet for my taste, like eating candy. The Apple Caramel has the right balance of sweetness and fruity flavor.
