Makati Shangri-La’s Circles Event Cafe has been offering premiere buffet experience to the metro for quite sometime already. To mix things up a bit for a little excitement, chefs from this luxury chain of 80 hotels around the world would at time visit other branches to share the flavors of their country. This month of August, until the 10th of the month, guest Chefs Harun Imre and Ramazan Edrem from Turkey, brought their 20 years of experience along with a supply of Turkish spices to give a splash of authentic Turkish flavor with the “Treasures of Turkey” in their buffet.
It’s another exciting month in Vikings: A Feast from the Sea luxury buffet. As if their 200 plus food selection isn’t enough, this August adds a weekend full of Southeast Asian street food fares in all the Viking branches (except Davao). Each Viking branch allowed their team of chefs to whip out their own twist of Singaporean and Malaysian favorites grilled satay goodness, Hainanese delights and spice-rich noodles to name a few. Here is Vikings SM Marikina‘s offerings for this month’s street food menu.
It can be a bit overwhelming to step in a buffet restaurant such as Vikings Luxury Buffet. Their extensive offerings can lead to indecisions sometimes on what to eat. Well this month of July, let happyfoodies offer some delightful suggestions. Through the cool guys from PinasMuna, I got the chance to sample their new offerings as celebration of America’s 4th of July. Starting on the said date and throughout the month, you can see these new dishes on different buffet stations, particularly in the Vikings SM City Marikina branch.
