Bike-friendly and Cozy Brewed Specialty Coffee in Pasig

Post a Comment February 08, 2022

Being a coffee lover and cafe enthusiast, it’s funny how Brewed Specialty Coffee in Pasig has gone under my radar for months since it opened. It’s a short three kilometer bike ride from our house. It’s located in a commercial center along C. Raymundo where I frequently bike. It took a fellow coffee aficionado’s recommendation to check this place out. And glad I did as it’s a wonderful cafe to add to Pasig’s burgeoning coffee scene.

Found at The Red Dot complex along C. Raymundo Avenue in Pasig. Brewed Specialty Coffee is sandwiched between other restaurants in the area. It’s not easily apparent since they are at the second floor. I had to ask the guard where it was. No wonder I hadn’t known about this cafe before. It's not easily noticeable.

The barista told me they had been open since mid last year, 2021. And from the looks of it, they already have steady stream of customers and regulars.

Bike Friendly

It was mid-afternoon and I was looking for a place for a light snack and coffee before heading to my apartment in Manggahan. My google map indicates the location but it was really not apparent. It’s camouflaged among the terracotta walls of the complex until the guard pointed the place.

Then the problem of where to park the bike. The guard told me they have bike racks on the second floor. Oh that’s good to know. and was relieved. I guess they have regular costumers on two-wheels. I carried my bike up the stairs and was glad to find a bike rack by the wall. There’s already a bike parked there.

Cozy Dining Space

There’s an alfresco setup at the terrace by the entrance. Breezy and roof-covered. A comfortable dining space for those who feel safer eating outdoors.

The interiors at the indoor dining though was warm and inviting. Earthy and organic making use of natural materials but still looking contemporary. There’s a turntable and records on display. And kudos for using Earth-friendly items like recyclable cups and straws.

I liked that they have a fairly simple menu. Specialty coffee made from available beans of different origins and also their staple espresso-based drinks. I ordered a single origin coffee that has both a choco and fruity flavor. I forgot the brand of beans but I had it iced. It was pleasantly the flavor I liked.

They have a nice selection of pastries at that time. Cream cheese buns, burnt cheesecakes, brownies and multiple flavors of cookies from red velvet, oats, oreo, macadamia, and walnut. I had the walnut cookie. It was served warm and tasted good.

There are other interesting items from their food menu that I would like to try next time like the Truffle Pasta, Nasi Goreng and the kimchi fried rice.

Brewed Experience

It’s nice there’s another coffee shop in the neighborhood I can hang out in. I’ll definitely come back to try the other drinks and food. Probably do some cafe work if I need a change of scenery. Will update you with a post on the next visits here.

In the meantime follow them here.
